My name is Emmanuel Marshall.
I have been hitchhiking around the world with my backpack and tent for years now, and I’ve become a low-budget adventure addict. I’ve roamed around Australia, Europe, South-East Asia, The Americas, The UK, India and Morocco.
My average cost of living: $10.00 per day
Welcome to the world of travel hacking.
Travel hacking is all about being well prepared, so you don’t waste your hard-earned money. It’s partly about having the right equipment. It’s partly about being confident enough to take the road less traveled. It’s a lot about having the right information.
I wish I’d had a mentor when I started traveling the planet. It would have been great to know someone who had done the things I wanted to do and could give me some advice and guidance.
I want to share with you what I’ve learned about low-budget adventure. That’s why I started writing my blog, Raw Safari. I figured out a lot of things by trial and error, and I hope I can make it a bit easier for you.
I’ve put together this Travel Hackers Handbook as an adventure quick-start guide. I’ve included all of the most useful stuff I’ve learned over the years, set out in a simple, easy to find format.
You can live your gypsy dream, and everything you need to know to get started is in this little book.
BTW, one word of warning: the travel bug may bite you.
Once you know how to travel the world for $10 a day, you may become an adventure addict, like I am. Just saying.
