I’ve loved skateboards ever since I was a little kid.

I still have plenty of friends who use their skateys as daily transport (like Craigo, in the photo above). They’re really practical for backpacking. Super light to carry when you aren’t using them, and they double as a luggage trolley if you strap your backpack onto them.

I found this cool company – DISRUPT – that does custom skateboards. You do your own design, using your photos or drawings and they laminate your art onto a quality maple deck, and mail it out to you.
