Wheels – Hitchhiking With A Bicycle

image

Australia is a big, spread out place. Getting around can give you sore feet.
Scooter was cool.
Folding bike is awesome.
It’s a bit of an experiment, but it’s working out great so far.

I bought it at a second-hand shop for AUD$125.00.

The plastic crate on the back is a milk crate. You can pick one up at the back of any Australian supermarket when you’re dumpster diving. When I fold the bike up to hitchhike, I leave the milk crate behind, and pick up another one in the next town.

It folds up, so it’s easy to hitchhike with. Fits easily in back seats, trunks… and boats.

Less walking means I have more time to lie around in the sun. Win.
