Red Point Resort – Callala Bay, Australia

The last few weeks Nia and I have been staying with my Mum and Dad in Callala Bay, NSW.  I’ve been working with my dad most days, helping him renovate my parents house.

It’s mid winter here, but there are still occasional beautiful days like today.
About 5 km round the bay from the village is Red Point, a large national park area which has recently been won back by the local aboriginal people who have set up a seasonal camp site by the beach.  Its completely abandoned in the winter, but when we were living at Red Point a few years ago in our van, Nia and I met a few of the part time residents, who gave me some great spear fishing tips.  It’s a bit cold for diving this time of year but it’s still an awesome area to take pictures.
