Edinburgh:

Woke up early.

Met Julian and the rest of Innis & Gunn photo team in the old city, round the corner from the castle.
We did a bunch of pictures of me setting out to hitch for their Press release and stuff.

Hearty breakfast of beer and haggis at The Beer Kitchen, then it’s finally time.
I give the guys a hug, jump on me scooter and roll south… slightly wobbly but feeling good.

India here I come!

3 pm

I’m already across the English border, and I’ve just got picked up by two very cool Polish peeps who are going to London!
Timing.

It was just starting to do what my grandma, who was a MacDonald, used to call, ‘a Scottish mist’ (and everyone else calls ‘raining quite heavily’). Just when I was starting to feel just a little bit wet and miserable, the guys picked me up.
Much love.
I get rides from Polish people all over the world.
(My mum’s parents were Poles too!)

Mili just told me we should be in London by 1 am tomorrow morning!
I seriously thought it would be a couple of days. Stoked!

I’m gonna meet up with my amigo Erik in London. Should be a lot of fun.
Last time I hung out with Erik we dumpster dived and cooked together heaps and got on the lagers more than somewhat. He’s a kick-arse juggler too, so I’m gonna have a few cans with him, then give him a challenge:
“You’re good mate, but can you juggle under the influence??”
He’s a typically competitive artist type so I know he’ll bite. Should make for a good video.

See you soon Erik, mate! I’ll bring the beers!

I loved the haggis we had for breakfast so much that the crew at The Beer Kitchen gave me a doggy bag of it to eat with my beer for lunch.
If I can make it stretch to dinner add well, that’ll be haggis and beer for breakfast lunch and dinner. Win.
